Trumpormycat.com is a satirical / parody web experience operated by an individual. By using the site you agree to these terms. If you don’t, please close the tab.
Age
You must be at least 18 years old to submit a message or make a $1 anti-spam payment. By doing either you represent that you are 18 or older. If you are under 18, you may read the site but please don’t participate.
Nature of the site
Trumpormycat is a work of political and cultural satire. None of the content on this site is intended to be a sincere endorsement, criticism, or factual claim about any person, party, candidate, or campaign. The site is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to any of them.
User-submitted messages are statements by the people who submit them, not by us. We make no warranty as to their truth, taste, or accuracy, and we reserve the right to remove any submission that violates the acceptable-use rules below — for any reason, at any time, without notice or obligation to refund.
Acceptable use
When you submit a message, you agree not to:
- threaten, harass, or incite violence against any person or group
- post sexual content involving minors, or any content that violates applicable law
- impersonate a real person or entity in a way reasonably likely to deceive
- attempt to circumvent the rate limit, captcha, or payment flow
- scrape the site or hit the API in any automated way without prior written consent
We may remove submissions, reject future submissions, and block IPs at our sole discretion.
Zero tolerance: child sexual exploitation
We have zero tolerance for content that sexually exploits children in any form. Any such content is removed on detection, the account / IP is permanently banned, and we report it to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) in accordance with 18 U.S.C. § 2258A. We will preserve the report and any associated evidence for the period required by law and may share it with law enforcement.
Reporting abuse or requesting removal
If you encounter content that violates these terms or want to request removal of a specific submission (for example, content that names you or quotes you out of context), please use our contact form. Identify the submission as precisely as you can (the side — Trump or Cat — and the approximate time it appeared) and tell us why it should be removed. We aim to review and act on good-faith abuse reports within 72 hours. We may remove content faster at our discretion.
Copyright claims: if you believe content on the site infringes your copyright, send a notice through the same contact form that includes a description of the copyrighted work, a description of the infringing material, your contact information, a statement under penalty of perjury that you are authorized to act for the rights holder, and your physical or electronic signature. We will respond consistent with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 512).
$1 charges and payments
The $1 charge is an anti-spam measure. It is not a donation, a vote that is “counted” by any real authority, or a purchase of any goods or services. It exists solely to make casual griefing economically uninteresting. We process payments through a third-party payment processor; we do not store full payment-card details ourselves.
Payments are non-refundable except as required by applicable law. Notwithstanding the foregoing, if you would like a refund, send a request through our contact form and we will generally honor reasonable requests received within thirty (30) days, at our discretion. Chargebacks initiated without first contacting us may result in your IP and email being blocked from future use of the site.
Privacy
We collect:
- a SHA-256 hash of your IP address (for rate limiting; not your actual IP)
- a coarse country code, from your CDN headers
- the message you submit
- a localStorage-only browser ID for reactions (it never identifies you to us)
- payment metadata required by our processor
We do not collect names, email addresses (unless you contact us), or precise location data.
Disclaimer of warranties
The site is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, that any defects will be corrected, or that the site is free of viruses or other harmful components.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event will we be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the site, whether or not we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or related to the site will not exceed the greater of $5 USD or the amount you paid us in the thirty (30) days preceding the claim.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of New York, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising out of or related to these terms or the site will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in New York County, New York, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts. If any provision of these terms is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
Changes
We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the site after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
